I believe we all look and see differently. When I have my camera in my hand it’s all about composition and seeking the finer detail; the things we might otherwise miss or might pass us by. So much exquisite beauty in the natural world and my aim is to share the beauty with you.

Here in the Healing Garden, we can see the fine focus you have for composition. Seeing near with sensitivity for what is far, holding together and knowing what to leave out, your choice of subject matter and quotes combine to create a pleasing message. This is difficult to do with so many elements. Especially surprising is your cooperative sharing as a teacher, by including the details necessary to understand the technical challenges of the photograph. This is a great gift all together. Gael, replying here also to your recent comment on my About page. I think your site is terrific! I had occasion yesterday to be looking for a particular quote by Rumi and although I have been following you for awhile, I had not previously spent a little more time browsing through the quotes accompanying the photography so I did that yesterday. I want to spend more time doing that, but what time I spent yesterday made me happy to have done so. I love the pairings and find your food for thought and the wonderful imagery a great source of inspiration and in harmony with my general outlook on life, the world and how we should treat and care for others.
